The Bangladesh Automobile Olympiad (BAO) is a prestigious national competition that unites young minds passionate about automobiles. Founded on 2nd February 2025, it aims to inspire and empower students across Bangladesh through innovation and learning in automotive science and technology. Since its inception, BAO has engaged over 1200+ participants from more than 35+ institutes nationwide through its Quiz and Olympiad programs. Open to both Engineering and Non-Engineering students, it provides an inclusive platform that continues to grow each year. BAO is dedicated to bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real world automotive applications, nurturing future innovators and contributing to the development of the automotive sector in Bangladesh.
To establish the Bangladesh Automobile Olympiad as the leading national platform for automotive education, innovation, talent development, empowering the youth of Bangladesh to become globally competent engineers, researchers, and technology leaders.
We envision a future where students from diverse academic backgrounds actively engage in the evolving world of automobile technology, sustainability, intelligent systems, and next-generation mobility solutions. Through continuous learning, competition, and collaboration, we aim to build a skilled and forward-thinking community that contributes to the technological and industrial growth of Bangladesh.
Our mission is to inspire, educate, and empower students by creating a structured and knowledge driven ecosystem in the field of automobile and mobility engineering. Through carefully designed quizzes, Olympiad rounds, and problem solving challenges, we aim to encourage critical thinking, innovation, and the practical application of concepts among students. We are committed to ensuring inclusive participation by engaging learners from schools, colleges, and universities, welcoming both Engineering and Non Engineering backgrounds so that everyone can contribute according to their potential.
At the same time, we strive to promote awareness of modern automotive systems, sustainability, energy efficiency, and emerging mobility technologies while fostering curiosity and a research oriented mindset among the youth. By bringing together students from across Bangladesh, we aim to create a collaborative platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and teamwork. Ultimately, our goal is to bridge the gap between academic learning and real world industry, helping students envision meaningful careers in engineering, research, and innovation and contributing to the technological advancement of Bangladesh.
